If the Visual editor suddenly isn't working for you ...
Just a short announcement.
We recently updated the Visual editor in ProsePoint Express on October 8th. Unfortunately, this seems to have broken the editor for some users. The reason is that some web browsers are caching some of the old javascript files used by the editor. If the visual editor suddenly stops working for you, you may be encountering this issue.
To fix it, it's a simple case of forcing your web browser to fetch all files again from ProsePoint Express.
For most browsers, this can be done when viewing a page with the editor by pressing Control-F5 ie. hold down the Ctrl key and press the F5 key. This will force the browser to reload everything.
For some versions of the Chrome browser, you can try Shift-F5 instead ie. hold down the Shift key and press the F5 key. Apparently holding down Ctrl and clicking the refresh buttong may also work.
If these techniques don't work, as a last resort, you can try clearing your browser's cache. Please consult the documentation for your browser for information on how to do this.
If, after these attempts, the visual editor is still not working for you, please drop us a line and we'd be glad to help.
Thank you.
