Add a PayPal Donate button

PayPal Donate buttons are best implemented with widgets. Then they can be placed beside the main page content or moved to a different location such as the header or footer.

An easy way to add a PayPal Donate button is to use a text widget which is enabled for javascript and iframes.

Do the following:

  • Add a new text widget
  • Change the editor to HTML mode
  • Paste the PayPal html code into the Body
  • Expand the Javascript and iframes fieldset and tick the Allow javascript and iframes checkbox
  • Click Save

Once the text widget has been created, you need to move it to a visible zone in the layout so it can be shown.
