Basic pages
A basic page is a vanilla, no-frills static page with only basic properties and no special features.
It is usually used for undated content, for showing special layouts, or for miscellaneous purposes when there is nothing else more suitable.
For example, the front page of a ProsePoint Express site is often a basic page with a special layout.
Other common examples where basic pages are appropriate include:
- An 'About this site' page
- A page with disclaimers, terms of usage or other similar information
