Managing menus
Site menus are different and distinct from the Control Menu. Site menus are part of the appearance of a site and are visible to everyone.
Each ProsePoint Express site has an inbuilt menu system and one or more site menus.
By default, each ProsePoint Express site starts with one menu already created. It is given the name Main menu.
Additional menus can be added if your site needs more than one.
A menu is a hierarchical tree of links of one or more levels. Simple menus will be a single list of links, but more complicated trees spanning several levels can also be created.
Each link in a menu must either link to an existing page of the site, or link to another website or url via an external link.
Usually a menu will be displayed prominently across the top of the site, but this does not always have to be the case.
Menus can also be displayed in other locations on the page using menu widgets.
Please refer to the screenshot below.
There are two separate menus displayed across the top of the site. The menus are displayed again at the bottom, using menu widgets.
